For the average runner heelless running (running without a heel strike) takes a bit of getting used to. Simple running exercises will help you get the feel of bouncing and will prepare you to run with a bounce, not with the bang that results from heel strike.
These exercises help you to run like an athlete, to run heelless. Don't let your heels touch the floor.
1. Standing up straight and tall. Move your heels up and down. | 2. Jumping on the balls of the feet with a range of variations. e.g. dance to music |
